Want to know more about our research study?

Main goal of our study
dsc02654.jpg

We want to further investigate how people from different language backgrounds learn to understand and speak the Dutch language.

We want to explore how your native language can affect (if you just started or are learning the language) or has affected (if you are a fluent speaker of Dutch) the process of acquiring this new language.

What are we looking for?

The main idea is to find out what are the factors that allow learners to master the Dutch language in order to, in the future, develop methods that could facilitate the process of learning to succesfully understand and speak Dutch.

At the end of the study, we will provide answers as to how each participant's learning process is taking place (for beginners and intermediate learners) or has taken place (for fluent speakers of Dutch).

How do you participate?

You can simply download one of our questionnaires and send it back to us completely filled out.

The questionnaire is to give us an idea of your language background.

After that, we will simply contact you to know when you would like to start.

Participants will be paid 30 euros for each session of approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes. There will be a session once every four months.
